Scavenging Spiders!
“In regards to the last image of the spider eating dog food! You might be interested to know that my entomology professor is currently doing research on scavenging in spiders. Right now, she’s got several dozen spiders that have lived through several molts on nothing but dead crickets. Turns out that if times are hard for the spider, they will resort to scavenging!*
