Man dies From 19 Widow Bites
It’s only fair that I share this story that my sister told me about… A 40 yr. old man died from 19 Black Widow bites on his foot! Now, it’s terrible.. awful for his family so by what I’m about to say I mean no disrespect or to take away from their loss.

fallinginmylemonade-deactivated asked: I caught a very similar moth with a large body and wingspan like that, I thought it was a Hawk Moth though or Hummingbird Moth. I caught it by a river bank in southern Colorado.

Okay, so this terrifying insect has not been identified by us. It’s aquatic, doesn’t actually have wings, attacks like a scorpion by arching it’s abdomen to imbed the stinger over its own body and into the victim’s. Six legs. We live in North Carolina and this came out of the creek by our well’s source. We’d love to know, for curiosity’s sake, what the devil it is.
