I’m having a hard time with this one because I had no idea where to start. The closest I’ve found is the Yellow Striped Caterpillar Moth, Trichordestra legitima,but I’m not entirely convinced. Here is the one I found on bugguide. If anyone has suggestions, let us know! It has already entered the cocoon stage so perhaps we shall get an ID after it emerges.
