Well, more people die from being bit by Anopheles mosquitos, than any other insect- however, this is not direct- it’s the parasite that the mosquito is a vector for that kills them (same goes for Tsetse flies, sand flies, fleas and kissing bugs). Directly? I’m not sure but I’d guess some wasps/hornets or honey bees would be on the list- only because of allergic reactions (I love bees and wasps!) and maybe fire ants? These are my guesses. Anyone else have others they’d like to add?

But I don’t know because Beetle Larva are super tough. I should go through my “unidentified” tag and retry some of them. I love when bug mysteries are solved!
