“this is the spider i messaged you about”-deadbehindtheeye You are correct!  This is definitely a Widow.  In fact, I believe this is a Brown Widow a close cousin to the Black Widow.  They are not native to the US but have recently become quite established.  Don’t worry about her too much, you can just leave her be to eat the pests in your garage.  They are quite venomous but not aggressive and Brown Widows don’t guard egg sacs the way Black Widows do.  So just knowing she’s there is enough to feel safe about her presence.
