Hi everybody!  I like to take the time to introduce myself every so often and seeing that I just hit another milestone, 15,000 followers, I thought I should do so again!  I am Andrea Haberkern, a Biology student working on my BS at CSUN.  I am in my early 30’s (I know, so old!).  Originally from Philadelphia but moved to Los Angeles in my early 20’s.  I have been bartending in Hollywood nightclubs since I first moved here and still am.  I recently decided I needed to pursue my passion, Entomology, and returned to school.  I will soon finish my B.S. and plan on starting my masters soon after.  I live with my wonderful actor boyfriend, Ken Choi, our German Shepherd,Schafer, our new Doberman, Gunther and two cats… along with many invertebrates! I started this blog as a bug journal and it has surprisingly grown from there.  It is one of the many pleasures of my life, and I learn from the process and so many of you every day!  Thank you for following!  Bugs kick ass!
