I ran out of bug containers today because there were so many good bug finds! So I was a little nervous having three Mantis nymphs in such a small container.  I was begging, please don’t eat your sister…but everyone made it home safely and they are now in a larger home with plenty of fruit flies to eat (I’m actually wondering if the wingless fruitflies will be too big! I may have to go aphid hunting).  So cute.  Now I have 5 Mantid mouths to feed + Kim the Black Widow.

Today’s guest bug is brought to you by giwops! What a cool photo of such a cool insect! This Mantis almost looks underwater.
